Dear All,

The 9th Zinc-UK meeting is only a few days away. There are a few more spaces left to fill so please sign up to the Doodle Poll as soon as you can as participation is first come first serve! IF YOUR CISCUMSTANCES CHANGED AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY THURSDAY EVENING!

The meeting will be held at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology in London on the 4th of November. We will start at 10.30 am with registration and tea and coffee. The actual program start at 11 am with important information regarding to ZINC-NET. Please come and help us to build a successful network and hear what advantages this network has for YOU!!!!!!!!!

Presentation prize offered by Springer:
Poster presenters have the chance to compete for a GBP200 Springer Presentation Prize!!!!!!!! You can exchange this for a book(s) on the Springer website. It is not too late to take a poster with you even on the day. However, if you want your title to be included in the program please let me have the title ASAP.

As the potential sponsors did not respond so far, the usual GBP10 contribution will be collected at the door for lunch, wine and cheese.

Dear All,

The 9th Zinc-UK meeting will be again at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology in London on the 4th of November. The Institute had introduced a max 50 participant rule due to health and safety, so please sign up to the Doodle Poll as soon as you can as participation is first come first serve!

As the fist Management Committee meeting for Zinc-Net will take place on the 11th of October, we will update you all by email how it went. The Zinc-UK meeting will be a great opportunity to discuss ideas/suggestions for Zinc-Net. Please spread the word about Zinc-Net, so we have more participants and more Countries sign up to it!

Most importantly, please come and share your research with us. Particularly encouraged are our early career colleagues (before or after their PhD) to present their data as a talk or poster.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you in London as possible!!!!
