London meeting update (06/11/2012):

Dear All,

WE HAVE 56 REGISTERED (plus those who will come along)!!!!!!!! We are up to the limit in how many we can accommodate in the room at the Institute of Ophthalmology, so expect a very warm and cosy meeting next week.

Please find attached the program for next weeks 7th Zinc-UK meeting. As you can see the lunch and the cheese and wine networking at the end is sponsored by Agilent, so this time you will not need to contribute to the meeting organization.

Also, Springer offered a poster prize, so please make sure that you bring along a poster!

Those who had not sent me a title of their talk/poster, please do so ASAP. It would be great to get an abstract from those presenting unless you feel that that might jeopardise your publication in a future date. We intend toad the abstract to the wensite, so it will become a public domain.

See you on Monday the 12th of November from 10.30 am.

London meeting update (30/10/2012):

Dear Zincologists,

We are now only two weeks away from our next meeting. I am glad to announce two important things:

1) Agilent had agreed to support the 7th Zinc-UK meeting (thank you John Beattie to organize this), so this time we do not need to ask for contributions at the door.

2) The number of registered are now over 50 with 12 exciting talks scheduled. Please make sure you sign up soon as I will need to close registration when we reach 60 as we cannot house more participants really!!!!!

The program is still open for posters, please bring along one to spread the wisdom of your team. See you soon in London!

London meeting update (04/10/2012):

Dear Zincologists,

The program is developing very nicely for the 7th Zinc-UK meeting at the Institute of Ophthalmology in London on the 12th of November. If you intend to participate please go to the Doodle Poll and sign up so I can make plans for catering (yes Toni will make those lovely sandwiches and there will be wine and cheese too).

As usual a GBP10 contribution to organize the meeting will be requested to cover costs.

Those who indicated to give a talk please send me a tentative title.

I hope to see many of you in London soon.

Warmest regards.

London meeting update (17/07/2012):

Dear All,

The next Zinc-UK will be at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology on the 12th of November. It will be a day meeting starting at 10.30 am and finishing with wine and cheese at 5.30 pm-ish. Those of you who can could join us in a restaurant or a pub afterwards.

Although it is quite a way from now, I wanted to give you the heads up in time, so you can book cheap fares and accommodation. So far Travelodge worked well for Zinc-UK meeting and there is one close to the Institute. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a great summer!
